Big
ups to everyone who came out to the Temple Bar last Wednesday
night. It was a truly special show, considering that the legendary
Sly Stone got up on stage and performed If You Want Me To
Stay with Babystone, which is fronted by his daughter Noveena
Carmel. Amp Fiddler went on and proceeded to blow the house
down with his band of great musicians and their monster funk
jams.
Speaking
of Babystone, The Double D Horns (Danny T. Levin and David
Moyer, FKA The MSP Horns) will be going into the studio to
record with Babystone on their new EP, slated for release
later this year. Word has it that Simeon Wonder is finishing
up the keys on these tracks right now.

We
got a whole bunch of new stuff coming up that we are super
excited about here at Mushroom Stamp Productions.
All the
way from Canadia, Lady Diculous
(aka Lady D) is a bicoastal hip hop artist who has recorded
with artists ranging from East Mezzoz to Amanitas
and Phorest Creaturz.
Look for her new track "Syringes By The Pool", currently
available as a download
from the Mushroom Stamp Productions store.
We are
currently working on a top
secret project with our friends at Invengo Records. Everything
is hush hush about this project, but one of our associates
was able to get clearance to leak one of the demos. We can't
say much beyond the following sage bit of advice: Let the
dove be your guide.
Tommy
V (TOCA, Amanitas, Shapeshifters,
Ventriloquists) is working on some new tracks that you can
check out at his myspace page, www.myspace.com/tommyv. Look
for Amanitas, The
Dizzler and Moweke 5000
to be showing up on this album when it comes out.
Speaking
of The Dizzler (Edy Pickens), she has just gone back into
the studio with producer Amanitas to resume work on her debut
record as ELP* after taking time off to focus on painting
and visual art projects. She's been busy recording as well,
including contributing her instrumental skills the aforementioned
Tommy V project as well as performing with The Ventriloquists
and TOCA and recording with Amanitas and the Phorest Creaturz.
Speaking
of the Phorest Creaturz, there is a whole bunch of cool shit
in the works from this crew of psychedelic scrotal warriors,
including their hyphy track Ghost Ride The Train featuring
just about everyone mentioned in this box. Check them out
at www.myspace.com/phorestcreaturz for the latest updates.
The
Ventriloquists have been busy writing songs for their
next record and revising their live show for maximum scrotal
excellence. Look for a Ventriloquists/TOCA show to happen
sometime in February.
And check
out all of the artists on our new MSP 2007 Sampler CD-R. It's
going to feature a constantly rotating track listing of tunes
from all of our artists including both the new heat as well
as rarities and classic tracks.
