I have a beautiful wife and daughter. Some times we jam out. I especially like it when that happens.
Also I play in bands with my friends.
Because I think playing music with my friends and family is the most fun.
Los Angeles based musician Danny T. Levin made his reputation as one man walking brass section. He's the guy who comes into the studio with a car full of horns that he uses to leave behind lush and inventive orchestrations on your tracks.
Danny is also a performer, producer, composer, songwriter, teacher, musical director, contractor, arranger, orchestrator, multi-instrumentalist, conductor, singer, and knowledgable person about most all things musical.
Born in Japan, Danny grew up in Northern California, studying guitar, songwriting, vocals, keyboards, trumpet, euphonium, composition, improvisation and more before heading to LA for college. Since graduating UCLA with a degree in music in 2001, Danny has recorded on multiple Grammy winning and Billboard #1 albums, toured all over the world, and played with some of the biggest names in the music business.
His recording and/or performing credits include Queens Of The Stone Age, Vampire Weekend, Snoop Dogg, Regina Spektor, Gary Clark Jr., 21 Pilots, Glen Campbell, Iggy Pop, Rilo Kiley, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds (Oasis), Julian Casablancas (Strokes), Built To Spill, Paloma Faith, Ceschi, Once and Future Band, Ceci Bastida, Devotchka, Carina Round, Paul F. Tompkins, Matt Nathanson, Lenka, Guster, Tim Heidecker, and tons more.
He does work for clients all over the world from his home studio in Winnetka, CA and he performs regularly with a number of different bands and artists. Danny is a teaching artist for Harmony Project, a non profit scholarship based music program in addition to teaching a select number of private students. Danny also co-leads the LA indie pop jazz group/horn section DD Horns with saxophonist David Moyer.
